Yesterday, I got in a conversation with another large-footed lady about how the good stuff never goes on sale for us. I’m usually a nine or 9.5 in expensive shoes, and whenever I’m at a sale, I always stare wistfully at the racks of size-seven shoes, hoping against hope that by the time I get to the back of the section were the shoes for ladies with large tootsies reside, I’ll see some of the same styles waiting for me. It almost never happens. And even when I want to buy something that’s full-price, I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve heard, “The largest size we have in stock is an eight. Do you think that might work?” Only if I saw my toes off, but for the right pair of shoes, we might be able to negotiate.
I can only imagine that it’s even worse for women whose feet are bigger (or on the other hand, whose feet are preternaturally small), but if you wear a size 11, today is your lucky day. The Christian Louboutin Josepha 120 Platform Sandals are available at The Outnet for 40% off, but only in your size.
The combination of glamour and usefulness that this pair of shoes offers cannot be overstated. Black and gold is a classic combination that can work with cocktail attire in any season, and the slightly Grecian lines of those shoes have style without too enthusiastically sticking to a particular trend or look. I could see these on a girl in her 20s or a woman in her 60s, and if you’re a size 11, I implore you, please snap them up
